With any luck at all, we'll have a nice, quiet, peaceful and democratic transfer of power without the need to shed blood, assassinate anyone, blow anything up, or sling mud. I'm talking about next years CTWG officers.

Thanksgiving no longer the domain of Turkeys! Straying from tradition, Mike & Joanne will thankfully host the Thanksgiving Monthly Meeting again. However, they are done doing turkey for the whole wine community! Not to worry, though, Mike is itching for an excuse to use his new pig-sized roaster he has built in his backyard. That's right, we'll be having a must-not-miss Thanksgiving Pig Roast! If we don't stray *too* far from tradition, though, we'll likely start at 13:00!

We'll talk about Sanitation Procedures! Bring your favorite technique, (wine) toy, or procedure to demonstrate and share with the enthralled masses! Remember, good wine starts with a clean mind, er, carboy, yeah, carboy!

May 22, 2011 - 10:07am — jdlKC and Jim host the June wine-n-water party at their newly renovated Chateau! We will be exploring Cab Sauv and Cab Sauv Blending, holding a red/white blind taste test using your decorated blindfold, and judging the traditional Wine Apparel contest!
