Just a reminder of the up-coming November meeting!
It is on November 16, 2008 at 1:00pm at Mike and Joanne Buchweitz's house. It is our Annual Thanksgiving dinner cooked by Joanne and Mike Buchweitz along with Raisin "port style" dessert wine tasting. To coordinate food, please email Joanne telling her the food item you will bring to dinner.
We will also do nominations for guild officers for 2009.

October 11, 2008 - 1:30pm — jdlWith the 2008 Fall Crush behind us now, I've finally found a moment to breathe a little life into a new CTWG website. We'll give Drupal a try. All new territory.
About
The Central Texas Wine Guild is a loose collection of amateur wine makers in the Central Texas area. We have members from roughly Georgetown through San Marcos though most are located in Austin proper.
Our Guild members have a wide range of skill levels ranging from "Never seen wine before" to "I've won medals for wine I made using grapes I grew in my backyard." Whether you are new or old, we promote a friendly, educational environment!
We meet monthly, usually at the home of a Guild member, though occasionally we plan a field trip and hold our meetings at a local winery.
